Lionsdrinkbellinis was created to start a series of tasting sessions for drinks you may have never tried or think you don't like.   It also came as a result of realising so many occasions of meeting new people are unbearly painful, often very dull and can leave you feeling a little flat.  So if you've tried other traditional groups or clubs and decided they are not for you give LDB a try...

The idea is the nights are fun, sociable, affordable and possibly even a little bit educational.  LDB is now into its second year of evenings.  So far the tastings have included New Zealand's 42 Below Vodka, gin, brandy, rum, ice cream, champagne, cheese, tequila, whisky and Pieminister pies.  This has been expanded into an evening celebrating the launch of Sex and the City and Mamma Mia on DVD, cheese and chocolate fondue night, a bonfire party, pole dancing lessons and a fabulous 1st anniversary Italian themed party.  2010 has started with a fantastic Winter Barbecue at the beautiful Goldbrick House. Basically anything goes!

Lionsdrinkbellinis does not fit into a box:

• there is no limit on age or type of person
• it is most definitely not a singles group nor does it exclude couples
• it welcomes people who have just moved to Bristol or those just wanting to meet some new people
• there is no membership fee, no demand for commitment every week or to get up at the crack of dawn for breakfast

If you fancy giving an evening a try, you can buy tickets in advance, or for a little bit more pay on the night.
